Dear Opponents of Invest in Education,
My elementary social studies textbook last year said that George W. Bush is still president of the United States. It was published in 2008…the year I was born! I have seen my teachers and my mom who is a teacher, struggle to supply their classrooms with necessary material such as paper, pencils, and other items with their own money since our legislature cuts money from MY public school each and every year for the 12 years I’ve been alive. Shame on them for not investing in us. We are the future!
