Dear Opponents of Invest in Education,
The foundation of every state is the education of its youth.
I truly don’t understand how legalizing marijuana got put on the ballot, while funding education with over 400,000 signatures doesn’t qualify. The only thing I can imagine is that the powers that be want a populace that is stoned and uneducated.
If you want to have doctors, lawyers and teachers to take of you and your progeny in the future, they need to be adequately educated NOW. Arizona has been the laughingstock of the country for years. Teachers and staff have been underpaid for years. The infrastructure of schools is failing and not keeping up with the 21st century. Help make Arizona the envy of the country by adequately funding its schools.
